What speed do I need?
For email, web surfing and movies, 1.5 mbps is sufficient for most households. 7 mbps allows streaming of multiple movies, simultaneous use by more than one person and other high-speed applications. 12 mbps is recommended for gamers and people who need ultra-fast response. All of our speeds provide enough upload speed to use our TV Everywhere™ service and other common uploading applications!
Can I use the modem/router I have now?
In many cases yes, depending on the type of service you have today. Our representative will ensure you have the right equipment during the order process.
Can I connect more than one computer to my Internet service?
Yes. If you need assistance, additional charges may apply.
Will I get a new email address?
No. You may lose your old address depending on your previous provider, but we encourage our customers to get an email account from one of the many free services online. You'll never have to change your email address again, and many of the providers offer massive storage limits and excellent virus protection.
